Perfect Texas Guacamole
This guacamole has won in contests, and the bowl will be empty quicker than you expect.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 avocados - ripe but not too soft
- 1 tablespoon fine chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
- ½ teaspoon minced or granulated garlic
- 2 teaspoons salsa
- 3 teaspoons fresh chopped cilantro/coriander
- ½ teaspoon salt and pepper
- Optional: chopped jar or canned jalapenos to taste
COOK THIS
- Mash all ingredients together. I love the texture of slightly under mashed avocados for a chunky look. Taste and add salt as desired. Do not over salt if serving with tortilla chips. Spice it up with a little cayenne pepper or jalapenos.
