Perfect Pickles
If you're a pickle fan, this one's for you. You may never go back to store bought pickles after you do it yourself.
MAIN INGREDIENTS
- 2 large cucumbers
- ½ cup white or rice vinegar
- ½ cup water
- 2 garlic cloves smashed
SEASONING
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of dried dill or 2 fresh twigs chopped
- 1 teaspoon mustard seed
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon coriander seed
- Heat Option: Red Pepper/Chili Flakes for heat
- Zesty Option: ⅛ cup of juices of 1 medium lime or 1 teaspoon Tajin seasoning
COOK THIS
- Slice cucumbers into round spears or haves. Do not peel.
- In a 16 oz mason jar or any jar container, add vinegar, water, garlic and seasonings.
- Place the cut cucumbers into the jar and finish by filling with water to the top.
- Refrigerate for 24 hours and enjoy! These will last up to 1 month.
