BBQ Chicken Flatbread

A quick flatbread pizza loaded with tangy BBQ chicken, red onion, and melty mozzarella — better than delivery.

Ingredients

  • 2 large naan breads or flatbreads
  • 1½ cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • 1½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ¼ small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Heat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place flatbreads on a baking sheet.

  2. Toss the chicken: Mix shredded chicken with half the BBQ sauce until coated.

  3. Assemble: Spread remaining BBQ sauce over each flatbread. Top with mozzarella, then the sauced chicken and red onion slices.

  4. Bake: Cook for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are crisp.

  5. Finish: Top with fresh cilantro and red pepper flakes. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • Storage: Best eaten fresh. Leftovers can be reheated in the oven at 375°F for 5 minutes.
  • Variations: Swap BBQ sauce for buffalo sauce and add blue cheese crumbles. Use pita bread if you can’t find naan.
